This website, embla.asia, is run by Embla Software Innovation ("we", "us", "our"), Osloveien 56B, 7017 Trondheim, Norway. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit the site and what your rights are.

In short: the site has no contact forms, no analytics, no advertising and sets no cookies.

2. Information Processed When You Visit

Server Logs

Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. It is not used to identify you or to build profiles.

Country Lookup

When you open a page on our site, your browser sends your IP address to ipapi.co, an IP geolocation service, to find out which country you are visiting from. If you are in Sri Lanka, you are automatically forwarded to our Sri Lankan website, lk.embla.asia. We use only the country result for this purpose and do not store it. ipapi.co processes your IP address under its own privacy policy. If you do not want to be forwarded, add ?noredirect to the address of any page. This setting is remembered in your browser only until you close it.

YouTube Videos

Videos on the site are hosted by YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click play. When you do, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and information about your device under Google's privacy policy.

Cookies

Our site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tools.

3. When You Contact Us

If you call, email or message one of us using the contact details on the site (including via LinkedIn or WhatsApp), we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this only to answer you and to follow up on our conversation, and we keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.

4. Who Receives Your Data

• Our hosting provider, which delivers the website (server logs)
• ipapi.co, which receives your IP address to determine your country (see "Country Lookup" above)
• YouTube (Google), only if you click play on a video
• Authorities, when required by law

We do not sell your personal data.
